First Grade
She wanted her hair in pigtails.
Her backpack didn't look so huge.
She woke herself up, as she looked forward to her day.
She knew most of her classmates.
It was different than last year.
But I still got a kiss goodbye. I wonder when that will end?

She's growing up toooooo fast! She did look cute in her "outfit" and her pigtails - she is a sweetie! Mimi
Awww. I didn't know her a year ago, yet a can definitely tell she's growing up. Her face looks so much more "mature" for first grade. My daughter is 12 and I have to beg for kisses. My 14-year-old son still allows me to kiss him (never in public!). And to think I figured my boy would be old and crusty and not wanting his mama's kisses anymore. -EW
